Giant Panda Habitat

Wild pandas are only found in China. They live in mountainous regions such as Sichuan and Tibet. There are now very few areas remaining which provide a suitable habitat for Pandas, and habitat erosion is one of the threats which the species faces.

As well as the 3,000 pandas living in the wild, a small number also live in captivity - around 200 in China and 20 in other countries around the world.
